It's fair day. I was trying to get a picture of the boys together and looking at me at the sametime, but it didn't work out. They were too excited amd were looking everywhere except me.

Harriman Resivoir

Here is Lucas enjoying his boat ride out on Harriman Resivoir. We went out boating with the Pike family.

Tyler was tired and took a nap on the boat ride back to the car. We had a fun day out on the lake. These pics were taken in August.

Slow Dangerous Intersection Ahead

You would think I posed Tyler for this picture, but he found this sign all by himself and decided to lean up against it. Lucky for me I had my camera in hand. This picture was taken at daycare on one of our walks through Seasons.

This sign also says to me that life goes by fast and you need to slow down.

Last Wednesday was the first day of School. I've decided to take Lucas' picture every year in front of this sign. I thought it would be a cool idea. Anyways Lucas likes school and riding the bus.

Somerset

We went camping this last weekend at Sommerset. Sommerset is about a half hour from our home so it's really nice run home if you need to. Anyways we had fun toasting marshmellows, swimming, and just relaxing. If you like some more information about Somerset click here.

Birthday Party 2

Here is Lucas coloring Transformer pages at the party in his spider man costume. I printed
them off of this site http://www.coloring.ws/transformers1.htm . I figured they would be fun for the kids to color.

Monkey Business

So we went to the Wilmington Flea Market today. The boys each got a stuff animal monkey. I had fun taking pics of them with their monkeys. I do relize on of them is not actually a monkey, but thats what they're calling them. It is cute.

Back to the plastic issue. I'm kind of talk out about the issue. I have been sharing what I now know with every one I talk to. I just feel they should know and hope they want to look more in to it. Any ways the kids got their new BPA- FREE Laptop Lunches and thier stainless steel Laptop Lunches water bottles. They're good for the enviroment and good for them too.

I'm kinda freaking out

So yesterday morning I had a child development class.

The title was: Problem child or Problematic food? A link between behavoir and what childen eat

So you can probably see where I'm going with this. I learned a lot about what I might be feeding my child could be hurting them. Anyways I trying to correct one thing at a time. I'm starting with BAD PLASTICS. I'm sure some of you have heard about it at some point. It's not good. Refilling and reusing plastic bootles can release toxic chemicals into your water. There is a great article here at About.com. I'm going to post a link list of bad plastics articles and where to get safe stuff for your children and yourself to drink from. Who would want to hurt this face?
